Choir auditions will take place after school in the choir room (rm. 109) on Thursday the 11th beginning at 12:30pm - immediately after school. All students interested in enrolling in choir next year (either Sartons OR Chorus), will need to go through this audition process. There will be a signup for audition times on the door to the choir room beginning tomorrow, and there will be informational sheets about what is expected at the audition there as well. If any student is unable to make this audition time, they are to contact Mrs. Nelson either in person, or by email (
) to set up a separate audition time. Any questions about the audition process should be directed to this email as well.
There will be an informational meeting for students interested in taking philosophy next year. The meeting will be in the library on Wednesday, February 10, at 7:20 AM. Please see Mr. Scrogham or Mr. Coakley if you have any questions.

Attention all students: For many years, we at St. Pius X have tried to get an instrumental program started. To this end, Helen Harrelson, the Director of Instrumental Music at St. James Academy High School has volunteered to come to SPX to “drum” up some interest. On February 9th, she and the members of their drum line will come to SPX to teach those interested to perform during athletic events. The day will begin with training, starting at 3:30, dinner, and a performance at that evening’s Men’s Basketball game versus Center. If you are interested in being a part of this exciting and new endeavor, please see Mr. Monachino or Mr. Lee during lunch to sign-up.

SENIORS: Please send a baby picture, a grade school picture, and a current picture to Andrew Cangelosi. Also, you can send in any pictures that are important memories during your time in high school.
If you are trying is get an award at Awards Night 2016 for Service Hours in the 100, 200, 300, 400 or more category, all service must be completed and the form must be turned in by Friday, April 1, 2016 – no exceptions. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. O’Malley.
If any students have pictures from the Spain trip from over the summer, please see Mrs. Unger about having them highlighted in the yearbook. You can bring them on a USB or a CD.
There will be Eucharistic Adoration in the school chapel on Tuesdays during period 5 A&B.
