"Instaurare
Omnis In Christo"
GIUSEPPE
SARTO
Giuseppe
Sartro was born in Treviso Italy in 1835. He was ordained a priest
by special permission at age 23. He taught in seminary for 26
years and became Bishop of Mantuain in 1884. After becoming a
Cardinal of the Church in 1893, Giuseppe Sarto became Pope Pius
X in 1903. His special attention to youth led him to allow young
children to receive the Holy Eucharist at age seven. Pope Pius
X was canonized in 1954 by Pope Pius XII. We are pleased and very
proud to have St. Pius X as our school’s namesake.
