PHYSICAL EDUCATION I:

Prerequisite: None
This course will present an overview of physical
fitness, team sports, and a healthy lifestyle. Students will
participate two days a week in fitness exercises, two days
in skill development related to selected team sports, and
one day per week in a classroom setting discussing healthy
lifestyle issues.

WEIGHT TRAINING:

Prerequisite: None
A beginning class in overall
body fitness and strength training. Emphasis is placed on
major muscle groups and how they relate to overall physical
fitness. Active participation is required.

Prerequisite: None
Advanced strength training
utilizing periodization methods, plyometrics, and speed development.
Heavy exertion and active participation are required.
