Library rules for SPX:

1. Open 7:15-3:15 Monday-Thursday
2. SPX students need a library pass signed by their classroom teacher to
enter the library during class.
3. No food or drink in the library.
4. All materials leaving the library must be checked out using your barcoded
SPX or KCPL card
5. Book check-out rules:
a. A maximum of 10 items can be checked out at one time.
b. Items can be checked out for 3 weeks.
c. Items from SPX can be renewed for 3 weeks.
d. Reference books cannot be checked out.
e. Magazines and newspapers cannot be checked out.
f. Items not returned in 3 weeks (and not renewed, or renewed and past the
renewal date), will be charged 5 cents each day thereafter.
g. Materials overdue more than 30 days must be replaced at the student's
expense.
