Many students take foreign language for a minimum of two
years.a highly-recommended option for most colleges.
A graduate may be awarded the Missouri College
Prep Certificate at graduation which commends a student with “B”
grades in core courses (English, social studies, math, science,
foreign language) and scores a 21 ACT.
Aspirants to college should know that Pius
graduation requirements match or exceed admission requirements
for most universities. Be
advised, though: U Kansas
requires a year of chemistry and computer; U Missouri schools
require 4 math beginning with Algebra I.
Some schools will give students college credit for qualifying
scores on AP exams, “C” or higher grade for ACCP classes, CLEP
tests, and test-out exams on local university campuses.
ACT or SAT exams
are required for college admission.
